[SMW hack] Sonic and Silver: The Chaos Race {SS]

Sonic in SMW, this...feels...weird. But it does look very cool.
It's also the first time ever I've seen Sonic swim, awesome. :p
And you guys use 'Robotnik' and not 'Eggman'. <3

Should be great fun to play once done. (*if* it get's done since we've seen too many stuff going down the shitter lately...)

Very nice sprites, and I'm not gonna make a critisism about swimming Sonic.
Awesome work so far, can't wait to play it

 

That looks great, but that running animation of big sonic looks like something died and became pixels.

 

You obviously have never played Sonic 2 on Game Gear; that was the entire plot of the game.

 

I'm pretty sure that was a last minute change due to a lack of real story / not wanting to implement tails; it never caught on afterwards.

 

But a plot is a plot right, no matter how late it was put in. =P

And what is so weird about the hero saving his friend?

 

In the "bad" ending, Sonic just runs off into the credits after defeating Silver Sonic. And Tails is seen in the stars, presumably as a symbol for his death? I consider that ending canon, one annoying furry less to take care of. >_>

 

Do all the powerups have to be rings?
Just seems a bit confusing to play =/
Maybe you could use chaos emeralds/whatever and fire sonic's pallet could be yellow like super sonic?

 

This looks fantastic. Perhaps a facelift like this is just the incentive I need to complete more than 4 worlds in SMW without completely losing interest. Also, the Chaotix are villains here? That's silly, but it means we'll get to see Vector, right?
