And I can think of a situation where he was given flesh coloured legs too: An animated UK Frosties ad from 1994. I remember artwork on an easter egg with AoStH Robotnik tiptoeing along a brick wall, guess that's pretty rare.
Oh hey, they're promoting the Williams team again. Sega must have really whored out that sponsorship in 1993 and early 1994.
This one is a box to a puzzle I have. Posted a bunch of photos here, though mine doesn't have the box unfortunately.
I still have mine, its here beside me now. Used it as my schoolbag back in primary school for years so its a little worse for wear, but still usable.

I'm not sure if these were seen or posted here yet before but I'll post them anyway. It's the early concept art for Sonic Satam, I think it looks really cool despite some ugly artwork lol I love the dark colours and shading and think the characters not used in these concepts look really cool. I like how much darker the plot seems to be in these concepts too and like how Eggman looks.
I own that keychain, and a wall clock with that same pissed off expression (both made recently) What is the origin of the pissed off expression? I've noticed a lot of classic Sonic art being used today was from the past. Is this particular art original?
There is a whole bunch of these magazines, all with unique sonic covers selling on Ebay at the moment though they're stupidly expensive. Only small-ish thumbnails on the auctions but have a look: http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Japanese-Videogam...d=p4634.c0.m322
No wonder there's so many long-ass discussions about the classic designs, there's loads of them! Also, some of this art is pretty bad, but I won't say which ones because you guys will get mad at me
Sort of unrelated but I got someone to reproduce a certain piece of art slightly differently Going to attempt to recreate this for y'all, without the text. Just the art and logo.
They are in the art archive, what I meant was that composition is amazing! http://I.imgur.com/h9W1L.jpg
Don't know if any of you have seen this around, but I've got a weird one. Probably around '02, I was in a community production of Fiddler on the Roof. I told one of the kids there I was a huge Sonic fan and he ended up giving me an old Sonic book he had had, Sonic & Knuckles. It was a nice little story (with a surprisingly dark depiction of the death of the Freedom Fighters), with some pretty okay art (though a lot of it is recycled from other sources), but the weird thing was it combined elements from the games (Floating Island, Chaos Emeralds, Knuckles) with SatAM (Freedom Fighters, Snively, Swat Bots) and the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog version of Robotnik. Didn't see anything on the wiki, thought showing the art was in order. Wall of Pics coming up EDIT: I might be able to transcribe the story here later, if anyone would be interested.
It's funny that it uses the AOSTH Robotnik, instead of the SATAM one, but for the looks of it, it's a bit more soft of a story, it's strangely fitting.
AOSTH Robotnik, SatAM characters, Japanese Sonic and Knuckles and American Tails. It's a total mishmash of styles.
That picture of Knuckles punching Robotnik might use the same Robotnik art as the "walking along a brick wall" artwork I mentioned earlier.
