WTF are you talking about? Do you mean Mega Collection? Because S&K isn't in Gems Collection.

All Mega Collection games are in Gems, but you can only play the final boss.

 

Maybe so, but if there was a way to disable the timer and disable the loading of the savestate, they'd pretty much be the full versions. However, I can't imagine why anyone would want, the emulator was trash in every. Bad resolution, terrible ear-splitting sound quality, etc.

 

Yes, I've beaten Sonic & Knuckles plenty of times, but only once with all the Chaos Emeralds.

Yes, and as a matter of fact Flying Battery is one of my fav stages in the entire series of Genesis games.

 

Nope. Never had it, never bothered on an emulator.

 

When I was kid, I didn't get Sonic 3 until after Sonic & Knuckles. I really had no option but to play without Sonic 3 locked on. I was a little lazy fat ass that did nothing really except play Sonic all day. At the point I received Sonic & Knuckles, I was already bored of beating Sonic 1 and 2. A majority of the time I played as Knuckles in S&K, but I beat the game with Sonic just a few times short than I did with Knuckles. The way I see it now, I actually enjoy playing as Sonic because the "story line" was expanded and felt a little more complete than Knuckles' story. But after playing the games together, I don't think I could play S&K alone again. Thanks, bye.

You know, I think I never tried to play it alone, if not for testing purposes.
Since I had the PC version first, playing the whole S3&K thing was my default option.

 

Why would I want to? Hyper Sonic rocks.

 

I refused voting, since I have never played the game in a real MegaDrive.

Yea, I completed S&K alone as both Sonic and Knuckles shortly after S&K came out. But, it's really nothing without Sonic 3 attached.
