Haha, that looks cool. Maybe I could put something like that in my hack. ...either way, I'm stealing the name. XD
zomg. zomg. zomg. Fuck clicking ads; ICEknight, I'm totally sending you like $20 for your troubles. PM me.
Personaly I'm not gonna be leaping for joy over this pic. IMO it looks too similar to Scrap-Brain and that's just sad Take a GOOD LONG LOOK AT IT, and tell me you don't see more then 55% of Scrapbrain act 2 in there........ So go ahead....flame me, hate me, say whatever you want about me....I really don't care EVERYONE gets an opinion......and this is mine!
Actually...I agree. It is kind of a let down in terms of the item itself, but even so - you still can't take away from the fact that it's most likely the only evidence of GCZ in existence, and that ICEknight has unearthed it after all this length of time. That's just incredibly awesome.
Like I said it looks like a mix between Scrap Brain and The Machine and parts of the Showdown. Hidden Palace itself was split upon between Toxic Caves and Lava Powerhouse. So that's proof enough that some of the levels that never made the cut made cameo type appearances in Spinball. The Machine's bg and the Concept actually match and parts of the tube.
I've clicked the pics. I've clicked at work too, does that give you DOUBLE MONEY?!?! I think so. You earned it.
OK, So Iceknight, finds this pic after what, 12 years, that has more in common with Sonic 1 then anything....for all we know this pic could have be concept art for Sonic 1! Com'on....am I close enough yet?
I kind of agree that Kles, Psydan, infinitizero are negative about old discoveries because they remind them of Scrap Brain Zone.
Yea. When I first got the pic it reminded me more of a Scrap Brain and Chemical Plant mix than anything =P
Hmm, I always thought it would be like Scrap Brain Zone, but I was assuming the first act, with the city background. Actually, if you look at that grating in the picture it does look sort of like buildings in the background...
Cyber city only reminds people of different zones because it holds a close relation in 'theme' of the zones.
I've always had an inkling that Genocide City was gonna be Scrap Brain-esque, and the concept drawing just goes to prove it, to me it resembles an amalgamation of Metallic Madness and Scrap Brain.
Hmm... A hybrid of Scrap Brain and the machine? I like. Let's make a contest on who can recreate it the best. =P
