SA1 and ShTH have it no different from S2 and S3. Chaotix and Advance 3 are built around it. 06 featured a co-op mode. I don't care if it's shitty, I love the idea of being able to play at the same time. The Unleashed stages would have been so perfect for races if designed just slightly differently.
I don't think this is a gimmick or anything at all, I just think it's a silly multiplayer mode that we'll barely even touch.
Uh, what? SA1 and Shadow (not the XBox version apparently) both have co-op in the same way that S2 and S3 did- a second player can just pick up a controller and play along. Chaotix and Advance 3 speak for themselves, and 06 does have a co-op mode. My comment about Unleashed stages is nothing to do with the talk of co-op, just that I really want multiplayer regardless.
I see no one remembers 1950s-60s era robotics in cartoons. You know... where they had little antenna to be controlled remotely through wireless means? How do some of you remember to breathe sometimes?
SA3 had a Co-op story, Chaotix co-op...that's self explanatory. And 06 had co-op...albeit done craply and mainly having 2 switches needing to be hit at once (which a Shadow player could do on their own with Chaos Spear) EDIT: Seems I got ninja'd
Co op is a neat idea, but if the game plays with Unleashed style level speed will the second player really be able to stay on the screen for a plausible amount of time? Unless it's just some sort of time trial ghost or something.
Cue people bitching that the red Sonic isnt green so they can claim that stupid Asure sonic 2 character color glitch is a cannon character
Well played Sonic, I have officially shat my pants at 2 of your games in 1 month. You officially get my thumbs up of approval. This game keeps getting better every day I swear.
Now if they added a little more colour and called it a special stage, which self-assembled as you traversed it.........well....
Well, it actually does look like the stage is self-assembling itself as the Sonics are getting further on the path... + - This is the first time I've used the the name Sonic as a substantive in the plural.
