Sonic Socks... for your DS.

That top one's from that art assets DVD.

 

I would like these a bit more if they were classic sonic, not "Hey! My quills are twice the horizontal dimension of my head!" sonic. Still, they are pretty nice - if I had a DS I'd likely pick one up.

 

Do you think the original fat DS' will fit in the socks? ;_;

 

It looks like they just cut off the quills, rotated them, pasted them back on, and cleaned it up.


These socks look...interesting, to say the least. Probably wouldn't get if I even had a DS. It'd be cool if Sega marketed these (with the classic design) with the new DS compilation.

 

Sonic Socks? Pffft, wimpies, you gotta get the Sonic Underwear.

God, I loved having these as a little kid.

 

Oh, wow.... That underwear brings back memories.

I remember seeing it in the store as a child and begging my mom to buy it for me, and she refused because "It wouldn't fit properly". I was devastated.

As for the DS cases, I would actually be interested in one if it had classic Sonic on it.

 

Loving that SSFIV gamepad.

Oh wait were talking about the Sonic stuff. Yea that's pretty cool I guess. Too bad it's using the worst Sonic.

 

I would like Sonic socks and underwear as long as it would be classic Sonic and tasteful.

 

His current look is fine to me. Hardly the "worst Sonic."

What's the point of having a 'classic Sonic' sock for a DS? For a Sega Nomad, maybe it'd be understandable. They're marketing these for the current console, using the current brand, rather than using art from 15 years or so ago, which makes sense.

I think they look rather neat, but then I don't have a DS, so... Yeah.

 

In the UK you can get a pretty cool pair of retro Sonic socks and boxers. I'd link to an image, but there doesn't appear to be any on the 'net and I cbf to take a photo of my badass socks and (Iblis) slippers. :3

I lol'd. I may buy the case, if they are selling it at Gamestop or something. The only thing though is that it looks kind-of like a sticker. Maybe We can make a classic sonic case!
