I want to bring Sonic to more people than just myself. I used to be a fairly hardcore collector, but after a few years, I realized that I am going to die and my Sonic collection will continue to exist. You could argue that the items are art, but they are only art if they are properly displayed. I've been to many art museums and none of them had a closet full of rare art pieces. Generally, the rarer, grander, more special something is, the better the display around the item! I own a Sonic Championship (aka Sonic the Fighters) arcade cab. I had it in my apartment for about 3 days to test it, and then took it to an arcade so everyone can enjoy it! And no, I am no interested in "preserving" the machine by not playing it. It was a game that was meant to be played and make money. Why own it if you're not gonna use and a get nervous anytime someone plays it.
