Would you rebuy Sonic Adventure 2 on XBLA if it had enhancements?

He must be using the Chaos Emerald to wmy name is Shadow, I'm the world's Ultimate Lifeform. There's no time for games. Farewell.

But yeah, I always thought that was weird. Doesn't it take longer to say the "same" sentence in Japanese than in English? Drummond said they were given a time frame to say their lines within, I figure they would've worked all that out.

As a side note, I'd be so down for re-choreographing and storyboarding Sonic Adventure's cutscenes for a remake. If only Sega was looking for those kinds of artists right now. A fresh Ringling graduate may actually have a chance :P

What's so hard with running SA2 in NullDC and increasing the resolution? :P

 

NullDC does not run on this machine. Same with any emulator for a console system that's more powerful than it.

Or the PS2 even.

 

I used to have probelms running SA2 through emulation. I couldn't frame limit it. So it was running at 70fps, plus the voices didn't sync properly during cutscenes. But now, even more messed up, daemon tools think SA2 is a music disk. So yeah, nothing works now.

In other words though. I'd definitely buy SA2 on xbox live. I still hate the treasure hunting missions, but maybe something could be done to make them overall less irritating.

 

I'll only buy it if it's redubbed by 4kids.


Also, haven't you guys heard? Ryan Drummond is struggling with pancreatic cancer right now. Pray for him!

I do that already, runs a smooth 60fps at 1280x1024. NullDC doesn't support Stereo3D. =P

I'd get it just for the achievements. I know that makes me retarded, but I can live with that. The enhancements would just legitimize my purchase, to where I wouldn't feel like a complete loser.

My idea was a free mode...any character, any level. It'd be relatively easy to code(considering that Gamesharks can already do it). The only thing they'd have to do is add some features for other characters, in order for every level to be completable. Add some springs and dash panels here or there for Sonic/Shadow when Eggman/Tails would hover, for instance.
