Stuff I thought about during my Suspension

You know issues 1 and 2 right? Their cover art is on the wiki and in Sonic Mega Collection. Well then you may also know that there was an issue 0 right? I happen to have issues 0, 1, and 2.

However, when I compared the cover art of issues 1 and 2 with the ones on the wiki and Mega Collection, I made a startling discovery. Apparently, my issue 1 and 2 have a different cover! See for yourself:



The issue on top is issue 0. I apologize if part of it is missing from the picture but its not my main point of interest as the cover art is exactly the same as what it should be.

Issue 1 is the one on the left. Issue 2 is of course the one on the right.

The stories are also different it seems. My version of issue 1 has a story titled "Run Sally, Run" In it Sally makes a deal with Robotnik in order to get inside the Roboticizing machine to take pictures of its internal workings with hidden cameras on the bottom of her boots. However, Sonic, Tails, and Antione don't know this and fear Sally is in trouble. Needless to say the piss off Sally so much that it looks like she has PMS. In the side story Sonic is fishing and catches a Jaws by mistake.

In my version of issue 2, The main story deals with Sonic having to retrieve the power Gems stolen from the Acorn Family Crown. Sonic mentions Sally's hair color change from a Blond to a Brunette (she was Blond in issue 0.)

I'm curious as to the origins of these issues and if they are real or not. They seem real as Scott Shaw did the cover art for both of them. If you are wondering where I found these, I got them at an antique store in the next county over a few years ago. I only payed 2.50 each for them. In fact they still have the antique store's price tags on them.

 

I'd imagine that these three issues would sell for a pretty penny on ebay and thanks for telling me their origins. It makes perfect sense now.
