Anyone have a complete sprite sheet for Sonic 2 with the sprites shown (in order)? I was going to use the ones that have been on the internet since about 1993, but I found it's impossible to get rid of the black background without ruining the sprites.

I really don't want to have to rip them by hand or write a software program just to extract them if I can avoid it.

  2. Sonmaped can help you? :P

It has all kinds of S1, S2, S3 sprites. I don't know if they're in order, but its all I have lurking on my computer.
*Edit* Here is a .gif version. Seems like both photobucket and Flickr like to automatically convert .bmp to .jpg, which is annoying as hell. If this helps you, Saxman(or anyone else for that matter), but you need a .bmp version, PM me or get me on AIM and I'll send the .bmp version to you.

If you'd like, I can create a spritesheet with all the sprites in order with the correct mappings. I'll edit this post as soon as I upload one. Hell, I might even make some for Sonic 1 and Sonic 3 while I'm at it.

Edit: Here it is... -->Click Here!<--

Just out of interest, why do you need the sheet?

Correct me if I'm wrong (and I very well might be - didn't sleep much last night), but I'm pretty sure he's the guy working on the "ProSonic" engine (by the way, I forgot if you've renamed it yet/what you renamed it to).

As can be seen in the Youtube video linked to in this post, the engine seems to be doing a very good job at mimicking Sonic 2's physics, yet does not display Sonic's sprites. Perhaps he needs a good, clean, copy of Sonic's sprites from Sonic 2 for this very purpose?

Then again, I might just be going crazy.
