    lol werehog stages are long

Honestly, they're not that bad. They take 5-10 minutes tops if you know what you're doing and aren't so pressed to fight everything.

They must drastically improve then. The first one I did took 45 mins :(

God, long gameplay is long... It reminds me of my first Eggmanland run: 50 minutes =D

In fact, I used to do speedruns in the Werehog stages as well, though, being fast enough in the night stages doesn't give you good scores. So, no 'S' rank if attempting to be fast. This doesn't applies for Eggmanland though. One can skip most fights, finish in less than 9 minutes, and still earn a beautiful platinum 'S'.

I belive it's possible to beat the first Werehog stage in less than 3 minutes or so, if I recall correctly. The ice stage too, if you glitch it. The only night stage that I can't be arsed to attempt is Skyscrap Scrapper. God is witness of how much I hate that night stage.

Speed-running 360/PS3 Werehog levels can be somewhat entertaining, as opposed to boring, long, and monotonous when you play them unleveled. I feel like I should download the Adventure Packs next time I have some spare points, because apparently they are considerably better than their "vanilla Unleashed" counterparts, sporting more platforming and fun level design.

See, in the middle of the game -- around Chuu-nan, Holoska, and Spagonia, if I wasn't too obsessed with performing well I could usually get through the levels well enough and enjoy myself in the process; challenging but not cheap.

I was woefully unprepared for that first titan battle, and spent about 30 minutes on that level myself. I figured it'd be 15 minutes AT MOST. Of course, going back fully leveled it's much easier.

That's a major reason, I think, why so many reviewers hated the game; the first levels -- the ones everyone will play at the start -- really sucked given the stats and skills available at the time.

And then I've already mentioned I hated the last levels because they got cheap again.
