The Sega Facebook page says there's going to be an announcement tomorrow and that "you'll want to tune in if you're a fan of the classics". Maybe about the 3D Classics that aren't out in the west or something?

 

No, it's just the SG-1000 theme for the 3DS that Japan already got.

Sonic 4 Episode 1 & 2 just came back to iOS stores, and S4E2 just got a firmware update. Also, both were announced in January of each respective year they were revealed.

Just here to tell you guys it's very likely that Sonic 4 : Episode 3 is getting announced tomorrow.

 

Okay, I can't see the post about the new game. It won't show up in SEGA's page and when I click the link it says "content not found". Is there some regional lock on the post? Also seems strange that SEGA wouldn't put this on the Sonic page as well if it is indeed Sonic-related.

But also I like Azoo's guess.

 

I've had numerous links from a friend, he shared it directly on my timeline and I followed a link in TSSZs article. But nope. None of them are working.

 

Ah, ok. I only saw the one about the "classic theme coming tomorrow". It seems the game announcement post may have been pulled down since then. Your link isn't working for me, and someone posted a screenshot of their twitter post on the same thing, that's gone too. This isn't it because it's not really classic, but they'll probably be announcing Valkyria Chronicles for PS4 next week:

They also broke their silence regarding Shenmue last week, as far as I know it's the first time they've responded to any inquiries since Shenmue 3 was announced. Prior to last week they didn't even acknowledge it.

Edit: Okay, Sonic 4 Episode 3 definitely sounds more likely.
Edit 2: Especially with "new game". That really rules out what I said above.

Either way, it's not Sonic.

It's not Valkyria PS4 because that's not something 'classic fans' would be looking out for, and it's not 3D Classics Collection because that's not a 'new game'.

Plus, Aaron's number shenanigans.

 

If S4: E3 is real, there will be 2 main series Sonic games this year.

And I love this.
