Sonic & SEGA All Stars Racing

You know, that's actually pretty cool.

They'll be in the Avatar Racing game as well too, which, in all honesty, looks better than this in my opinion.

 

Well, good for the 360 owners at least. I like the Avatar special move.

All this talk of Avatars and Hank Hill reminds me of the Hank Hill Mii I made...Wait, just make a Hank Hill avatar!

Is that second screen the snow and fire level from Banjo Tooie?

 

He looks so bland and unfinished for some reason, or maybe I'm just being crazy I dunno. He just doesn't look that good compared to the other racers.

 

Hm, even though Banjo's car isn't a direct custom Nuts and Bolts creation, I like that it uses different parts, such as the engine, fuel tanks, and wheels from Nuts and Bolts. I also like that it retains the whole Nuts and Bolts "patched" style.

I must be one of the few people who's really enjoying all of this, then. While somewhat off topic, N&B wasn't that bad, and the previous two main Banjo games were great. I never would have thought he'd pop up in the same game as Sonic one day. The fact that they're playing it up so heavily just adds to the hilarity of it all. That trailer was brilliant, the announcer was absolutely amazing.

I think it's just Dino Mountain from Billy Hatcher. I remember it being mentioned even before that trailer. Though, I don't remember those tiki statue things ever being in that stage.

 

I actually really liked Nuts & Bolts, one of my favorite games of '09, honestly.

 

Thank god I've never heard of Banjo & Kazooie before, their new design is terrible (except for that thing on Kazooie's head =P).

 

Even in screens from Nuts & Bolts, his color saturation seems to change a lot depending on the lighting.

Personally, if he can't have his old look, I wish he looked more like he does on the box art for Nuts & Bolts. I found that much more appealing than what was in-game for some reason.

 

I would rather them to stop using Banjo completely, I don't want him to end up as Microsoft's next little cash cow to slap on everything.

 

No shock that Microsoft was the only company to get an exclusive character so far. They always pay other companies to give them console exclusive content for multiplatform games. Doesn't mean that other console won't get exclusives later on though, or that they WILL, for that matter. Goddamn speculation time...

 

Don't worry, they're already working on the next Halo. So much for the series ending at 3, eh?
