Holy shit, it's a real port from PS360 to Wii.

That casino track looks like an F-Zero course.

 

It pretty much is. It's much more fun in this game than it was on the actual Sonic Heroes. If they threw this track as is into Sonic Unleashed... well, it'd be pretty boring due to the lack of platforming, but it'd still rule.

Sumo Digital needs to do F-Zero Wii.

 

Holy cow those Wii screens are fucking ugly, I thought I was looking at the DS version.

EDIT: Nevermind, it looks a little better in other shots.

 

I must say that they did a damn fine job reinterpreting the Sonic Heroes levels. In Heroes those levels looked bland and uninspired. In this game I actually want a next gen Sonic Heroes if it means these environments

 

Don't forget the poor programming in the heroes levels, like falling off the stage if another racer slightly bumps you.

 

Well at least they stayed true to the source material.

 

I know, it's like I'm really playing Sonic Heroes.

 

The third Seaside Hill level is my favourite, though.

However, I know what'chu mean with the whole clipping through the stage thing. Luckily it's only happened once thus far.

 

I've only really experienced clip through in the last Final Fortress level with the gigantic loop but beyond that most of everything was pretty solid in the Heroes levels.

 

Play the Casino levels.

It's a lot more noticeable there.

 

Had no such problems.

 

One time I ran into tails during a jump and we both clipped right through the ground when we landed. Only time it's happened to me. I didn't mind, because it got me the challenge for knocking an opponet off the road without using a weapon :v: .

 

Is it just me, or is it that the game looks really pixellated? Like, if you look at Cooljerk's post, you can see the Wii version has a lot of pixellated stuff... but if you look at the PC version screens closely, you can see weird pixellation everywhere, too. What the hell is it?

 

The shadows are pixellated, but that's about it for the 360 version. Unless you count Billys Egg, as was evident in some screenshots but not in-game.

I just had a few races with Jeztac, and damn I clipped through Pinball Highway twice, both times as I was coming off the giant pinball table. I also experienced a funny glitch on Whale Lagoon once where I fell into the second pool of water at the star, and instead of being put back on the track near where I was, I was taken all the way to the corkscrew. Cheeky shortcut, cause I managed to pull it off a second time.

 

Opa Opa is waaaay too OP for me, winning more than a fair share online :P

Picked this up earlier, and I'm loving everything about it so far. Just playing through the mission mode. The fact that the real version of Palmtree Panic is used makes me smile. The use of 'Can You Feel The Sunshine' makes me smile more. Just about everything seems designed to tap into that fanboy part of my brain and make it happy.

 

Yo Britfags, where's the cheapest place to pick this up? The best I can find are all about £30, and I'm not sure if I wanna pay that much for it just yet. Is it worth £30, considering I have Mario Kart Wii for all my cartoon racer needs?
