Sonic Riders 2 officially confirmed?

Looks like it's gonna be released for the PS2 to boot. With any luck, maybe they'll release it for the GC. I know not many GC games are getting released at all now, but meh. I can only hope, as I can't afford a Wii, PS3 or XBox 360 right now. lol.

... what? I liked Sonic Riders... storyline and new/dumb characters aside, I found it a fun game.

 

I made it to Green Cave in roughly an hour and never, ever touched the game again. Seriously, I had a better experience with Shadow.

 

Good news! Sonic Riders was great fun, and playing it with the Wiimote should be fantastic!

 

Sonic Team is getting worse & they are increasing it with this if the game is true. Sonic Riders would actually make a good Wii game instead of a PS2. There was only 2 games in the usual Sonic style & that was Sonic Heroes & Shadow the Hedgehog, the rest being compilations (they were good) or stupid racing games.

 

Riders wasn't bad. Its track designs were quite good.
The way you had to get up to high shortcuts was pretty nice too.
Oh and it had some cool music.

I could probably stomach a sequel as long as though damn birds don't come back. Jet's voice led me quickly to the GC's power button.

EDIT: And I also don't want to destroy another controller because I had rotate the control stick to charge my air.

 

For once, I agree with Mystical Ninja. Except kind of about the joke part since I don't care either way.

English site up. New renders all over the place. Waiting for music rips, we finally hear a more complete version of the main theme, "Ungravitify" - but unfortunately, still extremely repetitive, and you still can't tell what they're saying. Aquatic Capitol is already my favorite stage... And just check out that first CG scene, woo! Gravity control and transformation are for the fucking win, and appear to give the game a much better trademark than just riding turbulence. Also, am I the only one who finds it odd that NiGHTs seems to be available from the start?
