Is the console version 60fps too?

Oh. Well my PC isn't too good so I'll still probably be better off getting the console version.

Has anyone tried this on a PC similar to the minimum requirements?

Runs fucking fantastic on my GTX 560 ti. Here's a screen, but it was taken with steam so there is a bit of compression:

Dear Lord, this Devil's Details bunch knows how to port for sure! I'm getting frame drops, but I have a few programs open that like to eat RAM, and that usually happens at very odd moments (it happens to my computer in general; I think it's my monitor?). In any case, Devil's Details did justice to this game. Many problems I had with the 360 version, such as load times (SHIT those are fast!) and unresponsive controls (60FPS DOES make a difference...) seem to be melting away. Can't wait for Speed Highway with this level of glory.

Dear fuck that is beautiful. Hell, if my computer wasn't having fan trouble I would buy this in a heartbeat.

To make sure the game is compatible with one's computer hardware? To make sure the buyer has some idea of what the game is like if said buyer doesn't own a console?

    Working on my art!
So those specs given a while back, are they legit or are they much lower then that?

Good god that screen is beautiful.

I can't fully play the game at the moment because I promised my girlfriend I'd let her watch (Sonic fan as well) but I played a bit of GHZ on PC and I can tell you 60fps makes a HUGE difference. The controls feel more responsive and fluid. PC version is the BEST version.

I have a Geforce 7900GS, but my CPU and other specs easily best the requirements. Has anyone run it on a similar graphics card? How does it run?

Yeah, I definitely need to get a 360 controller to play this properly. Looking good, though! Playing with graphics settings to see what works best.

May I suggest using the Going Down part of Speed Highway Modern? That will yield the best results.

This is why I want a demo, by the way. No sense blowing 30 dollars on something that I can't play at all.

The PC version direct feed shots are making me drool. Holy fuck this game looks amazing on the PC, better than the console versions.

Oh, and this is the best Sonic game in forever. The king has most certainly returned. Classic isn't Genesis perfect but goddamn the platforming and the level design is all I've ever wanted to see return in Sonic games. Modern's levels are really fun too.

Classic Tails and Eggman look spot on too, I really hope SEGA doesn't ditch the classic iterations of the characters. Seriously.

Here is an image from Speed Highway

Unfortunatly shadows and reflections are on low in this shot as my poor pc cant hack the game on high at 60fps.

    Still.. it looks glorious!

    boo

Doesn't affect my shitty 1600x900 (stop laughing) monitor I got for $60, but it's still a blemish on what sounds like an otherwise excellent port. Oh well, should be easily enough remedied at least. And I can understand the desire not to stretch 2D assets designed for consoles.
