Sonic CD now out for everything except Nintendo consoles

When does Live update again?

 

I'm quite interested in what score the gaming sites are ultimately going to give this release. I was just browsing through Gamespot and found their PC version review from 1996, and it was unflattering to say the least. How they could give the re-release a higher score based off this principle material will be interesting;

I don't think it matters and I honestly don't care. I know what I'm getting and that's a definitive version of Sonic CD.

 

A lot of online reviewers back then were really harsh to anything 2D. Just look at these reviews for Rayman 1. [LINK] [LINK] While the GameSpot review was pretty positive, they only gave it a 7.4 and the IGN review is just...insanely awful.

 

Wicked excited to be a Sonic fan for the release of a high quality port. I have been looking forward for this release for a while. Sonic CD was one of my favorite Sonic games and I am happy for my friends that haven't played it to have this chance.

Wait, so CD actually DOES come out on Xbox tomorrow in the states? Sweet, I guess I'm buying it tomorrow then.

Yeah, R8 has always been Metallic Madness (check the level select)

 

As soon as I posted I kinda had to think about that.

 

I don't care as such, and it doesn't matter, but it's interesting.

Yeah, I can see 2D games back then got a bit of punishment, probably because 3D was emerging and they probably expected everything to go that way.

Wait... Could 32 and 8 have something to do with Sonic games for the 8 bit and 32 bit systems? =O

Please. Please be right. If so, we may be seeing some highly requested remakes.

 

Last hint: the numbers themselves have no meaning, only what you do with them

 

...Some sort of Sound Test code or something, similar to how you access the Hidden Pictures in the original? (Which are hopefully in there somewhere anyway. = P)

lets see, 8 on it's side is Sonic's Figure 8 (Peel Out) and 32.......nah I got nothing XD
