Sonic & All-Stars Racing: Transformed

I understand why they're implementing these characters I just wish that they wouldn't. They have nothing to do with Sega's history and I would 1000x over prefer to see a character from one of Sega's classic franchises. So basically, I wish that Shogun, Football Manager, General Winter, this guy, and Miku did not or better not exist in this game. This guy and General winter in particular just have no place in this game. It's standard Roman and standard Soviet. Where's the creativity or uniqueness in that?

Hey guys complaining that these new characters have nothing to do with Sega's history, The present is a part of history. It is always overlooked because it's the here and now.

 

So is this gonna be like the Lost World thread where one person complains and everyone piles on him as if more people were doing it?

Random surprise dlc is best dlc. I imagine they have something in the works in regards to the poll but these additions keep me entertained.

His All Star isn't so good, but it's a neat look, the phalanx.

 

So appearently General Winter got censored? thats what the chatter on SSMB is all about.

 

They remove his hammer and sickle transformation effects to generic black and red stars.

I propose a mod to bring it back, and maybe even change his All Star music to the Soviet National Anthem.

But apparently, the change was because it was offensive? Some people are thin skinned. It was hilarious.

Anyway, great characters. The General and the Roman work amazingly because they're historical-like characters, placed in an absurd comedic situation. Just look at the guy's car, it's a SPQR Formula One car!

 

Apparently Russians are angry about Company of Heroes 2 because of how they are represented, so probably.

 

Looks like it was censored due to a poster named RoOhDiNi on Sega's message board. At first Sumo saw the complaint as a joke but eventually gave in after the poster demanded a refund.
