The lost switch object in lost world found here: http://www.sonic-cult.org/dispart.php?cati...=1&artid=14 is apparently called AokiSwitch. It has two types: push type and toggle type.
I'm loving this, I'll probably get a capture card and get some video footage in the next week or so, also my D2C Wii can't even play these GC isos without lagging like hell, my old GameCube plays them flawless though.

Looking at the SCENE debug some more (which is like a level select), there are maps that freeze the game and I don't know what they might be. They could actually work with different characters, but other than that, there's one that completely freezes me. It's called "SC OFFICE", along with another list of maps right under it w/ other names that might be familiar. Remember, most of the maps on this list are maps of their own and will not transport you to specific parts of a map. Another couple minor things. I don't know if it was stated before by Saz (I think he did but he said it made the graphics more like the Dreamcast) but what I think pressing Z really does is turn off/on Alpha Blending. Alpha Blending tends to make maps look a lot better with shades here and there, I'm not sure if this is enabled by default. If that's been said, sorry. Besides loads of graphical errors (think of this game as a direct port of Sonic Adventure from the Dreamcast with little modification, what DX should've been in the first place) there are also enemy bugs as well. Loading "DOWNTOWN" in the SCENE list brings you to the "At Dawn" part of Speed Highway. The cops in the begining are buggy as hell, you can't even do a homming attack on them they are so slippery and tend to sink in to the floor if you try to attack them. I know these cops are bastards in the final, but trust me, it's even harder in this prototype. More to come soon once this game stops being a bitch. Off topic: Anyone going to make a Sonic Heroes prototype topic? I would make one but this board has a topic creation restriction. 10.8 has tons of "WIP" music tracks with missing instruments (think of Hang (?) Castle act 2's music without the guitar), but I can't get the game to work on a real Gamecube. Dolphin works okay but it's difficult to navigate the menu.

The dash panel was the master emerald which made me believe that it was the master emerald shrine. Touching the floating panels of wood warps you into the cave coming from angel island.
I have a PAL GC with a Qoob chip. This allows forcing 50Hz, 60Hz or 480p modes via a new BIOS. Not all PAL games will support 60Hz and/or 480p modes and not all NTSC games will support 480p, however all NTSC games naturally display at 60Hz and so can be played correctly by leaving the BIOS set to "AUTO" . You can always try to force 480p, it works on many games, assuming you have a digital I/O port on your GC; you will need to find a component video cable though, I had to import mine from Japan.
SC OFFICE worked for me. That's the station square back area, where Knux entrance to speed highway is. I initially thought that the scene select takes into account which character you're playing as. Because Hot Shelter isn't listed for Sonic, however I later realized that this isn't true, and Hot shelter simply isn't listed.
Just to make sure it isn't me, but the game freezes if you select the same area you are at in the SCENE select. Right? Also, I'm begining to believe there is no Mission mode at all in this game. These mission files on the disk might actually be all of the Sonic Adventure downloads ever planned for the website on the Dreamcast version. Come to think of it, I remember someone finding that huge Christmas tree model inside the DX version the game, as well as many tracks for the kart racing that were going to be released as downloads. The Net Mission might be a debug for the Event files downloaded on the Dreamcast version. Since this build of DX is very early, it's as if you're playing the Dreamcast final with debug features enabled.
I believe so. It also can crash if you try to warp from one action stage to another. The whole thing is just very very unstable and frustrating. Must be because I'm playing on an old SDTV with bad flickering. :P I think there might be a case of Engrish, since I remember in Sonic Adventure 2 they called one of the billboards "EmeraldNOTwork" instead of network. But you could be right it might be something for Mission mode. Also looking inside the disk again, compared to the final version of DX, these .rel files are even bigger than the final's. Here's a screenshot of what I'm talking about: Final - has 268 .rel files Prototype - has 271 .rel files? What the fuck? The final should have a little more than the Prototype's because the Final has the blackmarket, the new Chao race lobby, etc. But the prototype has, or should have, everything from the Dreamcast version only. :\ Anyway Saz, could you also look at the list of people in Station Square and get pictures of any NPC that might be unused? I went through them and found 14/15/16 people, knew a couple of them, but there's someone who doesn't belong. There's also a different Archaeologist when you go through the "O PEOPLE" in Mystic Ruins. It's the very last fat guy on the list and he has a face like a pumpkin (?) and his sleeves are a little bit higher than the other fat Archaeologist who appears just before this one. I also found a weird object when you go into one of the "In the past" areas. It's a tree that splits apart and falls down when Sonic moves close to it, and when it falls down, there is no collision on the fallen tree. More to come once I stop getting objects that crash me. EDIT: For clarification, no has found any instances of the Dragon Boss' model inside the final version of DX right? I don't want to believe that this version of DX has the Dragon where the final wouldn't.

As I've theorized in my other post, the prototype would have carryover unused data that was not compiled out of the final version. Regardless that the Chao Black Market among other new features inserted into SA:DX, this prototype may have so many unused objects or undeveloped code that it could well surpass the file count in the final version.
