I've always wanted Sonic Gems Collection to come to the PC; I've really, REALLY wanted that to come out ever since I heard about it


I'm sorry to hear the US hasn't had as much luck with PC releases as the UK have had.

I guess America's a lot further away from places like Japan than the UK is [I think], so perhaps that might be one reason why.

 

I don't think geography has anything to do with it. I think it's more that Europe is a very different market from the US. I'm guessing that PC gaming is just less popular there save for MMORPGs (but this is kind of a shot in the dark, so I could be wrong.) Likewise, SEGA consoles always did better in Europe than in the US and especially Japan.

 

Heh, I'm hoping this will be released for PC, mostly because I wanna play the game, but I don't wanna fork over huge amounts of cash I don't have for a brand new system just to play one game. I'm gonna save my Christmas cash and see for sure wether it gets released or not, and if it does, I'm getting a DVD ROM drive. I've been rolling over in my mind wether to get a DVD ROM drive anyhow.

 

most PC games nowadays [if not all of them] are on DVD, so you'll need a DVD-ROM before you can play them anyway.

DVDs are definitely the way to go.

 

Yeah, but admit it; It's worth it for Sonic the Fighters. It somehow reminds me of Super Smash Bros., but with Sonic characters. How much more fun can it get? Especially when you can mindlessly swin a hammer around or throw bombs for kicks. lol.

 

Mentioning Smash in the same breath as StF is sick and wrong.

 

Hey hey, I'm not saying Smash isn't better than StF, I just prefer StF because of the characters and a more 3-Dimensional environment that doesn't just let you move forward, back, up and down.

... that and my Dad always beats me at SSBM. Curse you, Fox McCloud!
