Sonic 1 + 2 Soundtrack Compilation announced

That's all well and good, but I think I can speak for us all when I say we want rips =P

 

Thanks for editing that Amazon review! I had Chrome translate the page for me, got the gist but I still missed some points. I don't need "perfect quality" Genesis versions but I am too intrigued by the Sega CD sounding demos. Ugh....so close yet so far...

 

If I had the talent, I'd want to port Sonic 1 and 2 to the Sega CD using these demo tracks as background music, sorta like the cancelled ports. Sonic 2 could have Hidden Palace Zone restored, too! Maybe someday...

 

I know we're excited and everything, but are we really that impatient? Half the time I don't even realize community efforts are happening until days after they've occurred. :v:

Eh, I dunno. I've already got my own unrelated demo-packed 3-disc set to sit and listen to, so I guess I'm just content at the moment. I preordered it before the official domestic release date of last Tuesday and still received it in the mail the Saturday after.

It still felt like a damn month.

...Okay then, nevermind me. Carry on.

 

Apparently my copy hasn't even left Japan yet, even though the item was shipped early Monday morning and FedEx is promising me it'll be here tomorrow before noon. >.>

Heh, so, the rip will be up tomorrow, and we'll be getting the PSN demo tomorrow. So I guess that "Sonicful day" I was so happy about was actually tomorrow. Heh.

 

Yeah that pretty much seems to be the case heh, I'm just waiting on the US PS3 demo so I have to pretty much just watch videos and listen to music, so I'm very anxious for this collection to be ripped, it should be very interesting to listen to.

 

I live in Japan and will be getting this tomorrow. I have no problem ripping it for you guys but piracy is kind of a hot topic in here (with more and more people being arrested every year) so if any of you could show me a safe and anonymous way of uploading it I'll gladfully do it.

There are many safe ways to host the album. Worst comes to worst you can send the files to someone like me or another member and we shall upload it for you.

I try hard not to be an asshole... I really do... But how do you exist on the net for 6 years not know how to rip a CD? Whatever, we're gonna get the rip no matter what guys. Just hang tight.

 

The first person who gets it happens to be someone who took six years to learn how to use image tags and doesn't know how to rip the music. Great. God help us if he tried to upload it. He might crash the Internet. On a positive note it can only be a matter of hours now.
