Nice art of Eggman. Also, Sonic Chaos sprite is different, If I'm not wrong, that pic was used oN Sonic Chaos instruction manual.

The sonic art on the left seems to be sonic swimming, and reminds me of the missing arm strokes sprite found in the game, but it might mean nothing.

 

Is that another unused Signpost in the top right to the one that we have in the beta build? I could be mistaken, I haven't played the beta in ages.

 

What happened with that Sonic Spinball bonus stage table? D=

Um, excuse my lameness, so I don't think if it's in the final game (though I don't recall this being seen in that zone), but chibi Sonic in Tidal Tempest? What?

And that's only half of Hydrocity 2. OK, I knew Sonic 3 zones were meant to be big, but that's HUGE o_O

That doesn't look like bad pic resolution to me. In fact, I think it's the same sprite used in the saveslot select screen. Check again. Of the rightmost pics, third pic from the top.

 

If I'm not mistaken, that's metallic madness...

LMAO - just nearly choked on a slice of pizza :-) I was just going to post that this thread needed more Sonic 3D Beta. Knuckles is worse but just hasn't got the comedy value.

I was gonna use that, but that seemed more like an in-joke with the programmers/artists who worked on the game.

 

Yes. It isn't a problem because the opponent always appears "semi-transparent" (blinking trick >_>) on each side of the screen (2P in top, 1P in bottom).
