Revisiting Sonic Heroes: janky, but still a boatload of fun

Sonic Heroes was my proper introduction to Sonic, It was one of the first games I've ever bothered completing, which is something cause I was a neurotic kid who always got bothered with games being difficult and never finished anything.
And I've replayed the game a couple of years ago, don't remember when exactly, but it was after the pandemic had started.

I'm not necessarily nostalgic for it, and I don't think it's "good", however I did enjoy my time with it. I remember my main issues with it being the slippery-ness of the controls and the constantly non functional level design.
I'm still very glad it is a foundational game of my childhood.
