Music repetition

Nice observation, doesn't the sonic 2 boss theme reappear in Sonic 3&K and Sonic Advance? Or am I dreaming :P

 

Yeah, I think it does reappear in Eggman's theme in S3&K.

 

Yeah-I laughed so hard the first time I heard that-"Toot, toot, Sonic warrior!!!" XD

 

Wtf? It's not in any of those. Unless There's some alternate system screen in Heroes...

 

Sonic 2, the Game Gear version, had a variation of it as the 'Green Hills Zone' theme.

EDIT - bah. Toot Toot Sonic Warrior (You Can Do Anything) is still an amazing song, though

I hear the invincible of both, and yes sonic heroes menu has a up beat style of it, but you would have to listen to it all

 

In Sonic Adventure DX, I recognized these familiarities between music sequences:

In Twinkle Park Zone as Sonic, during the hover-cart segment at the beginning of the Zone, I noticed the music is simalar to that of Panic Puppet from Sonic 3-D Blast.

Windy Valley also plays newer-version music from Sonic 3-D Blast. Music from Green Grove Zone Act 1 in about the 3rd part of the Zone.

I'm pretty sure Emerald Coast plays doctored music from Green Grove Zone Act 2.

I also noticed that in Sonic 3-D Blast, Spring Stadium plays doctored music from Casino Night.

There're probably others I haven't noticed yet, but I'll let you know if I find more. ^^

 

Heh, yeah. Glad I'm not the only one who noticed that.

 

I don't know about that, but the first couple bars of Emerald Coast: Windy and Ripply (or whatever the hell that second song is called) are adapted from one of 3D Blast's boss themes.

 

Oh, and I just remembered! You guys know the Japanese opening theme of Sonic X? There're some parts in that were they use sort of an Invincibility/Super Sonic melody from Sonic 1/2/3 etc.

 

Nice finding I thought I could here you can do anything in sonic the hedghog 2 master system version.

For the two invincibility themes from SA games, it's not that obvious.
I can hear only a few notes played by a sort of carilion reminding me 'You Can Do Anything'.

Hmm, I'm sorry but I can't remember any part of the song that have something in common with invincibility themes from Sonic 1-3. And I know that song pretty well because it's used in the French version of Sonic X (with lyrics translated in French however).
They may be similarities. But in that case, they'll be even less obvious than the ones between SA invincibility themes and 'You Can Do Anything' (Sonic Warrior).
