Multiple player/spectator slots for online play?

    Welp, this.
    I don't really know how to word this, so I'll try the best I can.

    When you play Sonic games online with Kaillera, it gives player and spectator spots. Sonic 1 has slots for 1 player and 1 spectator. Sonic 2 has two players or one spectator, one player. You can't have two players and a spectator, for instance, because the ROM won't allow it. That being said, is there a way ROMs could be modified to allow more spectators for Kaillera matches?

    Its not the ROMs that are limiting you - its the Kaillera engine. Probably to stop lag.

    Kaillera is extremely laggy, even on a fast connection.
    Because of the [crap] software, it limits the number of players it allows.

    Semi off-topic, who's tried Sonic Crackers online?

    More than laggy I would call it buggy. Ask to the creator of Gens, even himself admits tha Kaillera sucks badly. I think it's time to change the net library...

    Just wondering, is the online feature in Kega Fusion much better than Kaillera?
