    You need to have bittorrent to download it. You can get it here. Then you should be able to download it.

    Do you get any extra points for getting all the emeralds?

    Nah, just 1 point for each emerald, -1 point for every "goal."

    .Torrenting isn't a very good method of sending files from one person to another. Hack would have to seed it for about a week before anyone could connect to him and recieve it.

    I notice you're on AIM, you could send it to me and I could send it to MasterEmerald if you want.

    Well if that's it for Sonic 1 entries (by all means they're still welcome) I'd like to announce a...

    Sonic 2 Competition

    Scoring is very similar to the Sonic 1 system.

    1)Clearing

    A point shall be awarded for every 10 badniks killed or each boss defeated.

    2)Time

    A point shall be awarded for every 1000 ingame score points awarded for time bonus.

    3)Rings

    A point shall be awarded for every 10 rings that makes it to the end on an act or special stage with you.
    4)Emeralds

    A point is taken away for every special stage failed, a point gained if the emerald is acheived.

    5)Secret Knowledge

    A point is awarded for every secret located in the game.

    6)Acrobatics

    1 point is given for every time something impressive is done. Given at marker's discretion.

    7)Mortalilty

    A point is awarded for every extra life remaining after Death Egg Zone.
    3 points are taken off for every Game Over, and 0 poi9nts are acheived if you finish with 3 lives.

    8)Yellow Hedgehog Bonus

    An extra 10 points are available for anyone who can get walk into CPZ1 with 7 Chaos Emeralds without getting a Time Over on EHZ.

    I'll probably give this a shot, but it won't be that great

    Question though, does it have to be with Sonic? Can it be with Tails or Knuckles?

    and for Acrobatics, what do you mean by impressive? What do you consider impressive, dodging a close call? going superfast? getting some high air?

    Ok, I'm done. I am so much better at this game than S1, so I think I will get a much better score. (Yay for Yellow hedgehog bonus!!)

    Knuckles has more abilities in Sonic 2 than Sonic and Tails so if you want to use him, it'll be marked separately and therefore when I have time.

    Acrobatic points can be won by:

    Totally screwing up and pulling yourself out of certain death;
    Getting some 'high air';
    Bouncing on a considerable number of things (usually 5+) across a large distance without hitting the ground;
    and impressive shortcuts.

    Like I said, it's at my discretion. If you do something not on that list that makes me think 'nice!!!', you'll get the point.

    If I could beat OOZ act 1, while I'm the ocean most of the level how meny points would that be worth?

    You mean nearly all of the act spent jumping for your life? One at most. I'd have to see how you do it.

    Why don't you submit a run SM?

    Also, I gave it a shot, but a strange glitch in Chemical Plant act 2 occured (I got stuck underground in one of the loops)

    Do I have to start over? Or can I start recording from the beginning of chemical plant act 2 (is there a way to do that even?)

    I just finished fucking marking your last one!

    Yeah, the more the merrier.

    You can rerecord from a savestate, but it'll be put down (Yes, I'm adding rerecord amounts to your score for everyone to see). Just get Time Over. I won't take a mortality point off if you die purely because of the bug (Try and get out of it though. It might be worth an acrobatics).
