Finally Sonic 06' gets interesting!

I watched that opening the other day for the first time in almost a year, and I gotta say...it lasted way too long.

But every now and then Sonic fandubs are...okay. I found a Sonic Adventure 2 one the other day, the guy put the voice clips from the game together with clips from Sonic X's SA2 story arc. It actually wasn't bad.

 

Am I the only one who finds these dubs retarded? The cutscenes are the only thing in Sonic 06 that aren't ruined. Now people have to ruin that too. Sheesh.

 

Yeah, this is pretty bad. These kinds of redubs are extremely common, and seldom are they worth more than just a cheap laugh, if that. The recording quality is always really bad and the voices are always high pitched, nasally, and extremely poor. I think Steve Hedgehog is probably the best fan Sonic I've heard next to InstantSonic, but even then the voices could do with some proper mastering.

I think way too many fans think they can do better jobs than professionals who do voice acting for a living, but they really, really can't. This is a testament to that exact sort of situation.

Nice effort, but that's a no-go. Call me back when one of these are actually good.

That Robotnik impression, along with the AoSTH jingle, was quite amusing however.

 

Oh, the Robotnik bit was the only decent thing about it. Classic.

 

The Robotnik voice on the second to last one was pretty good.

Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged is something that NONE of these are.
Still I can attest that it's hard to keep the voices from getting too loud when all you're using is a desktop mic, especially when the sensitivity goes up on its own.

 

Yeah, I honestly could'a gone without the rest of that BS before and after the AoSth Rrrrobotnik bit.

 

It's full of fart jokes...honestly.

 

Totaly shit. Adding someones crap acting voice who swears every 5 seconds is not making it any better.

I like the intro anyway, only good thing about the game for me.

 

Yeah, Aosth Robotnik impression/theme was the best thing about that dub.

 

Stupid. Very stupid.

 

It's fandubs like these that makes guys like us look bad.

 

So how about AMVs (especially the Sonic ones)? Not all, but at least 60% of them are just cutted clips with random mixing to somebody's favourite music and all put it together. Deleted by YouTube Administrators because of copyright claims make people thinking that it's very unfair. Because it is! :P
