Ok. I have much time left, so I will state some points:

There's nothing impressive about that. The Death Egg was in orbit around the Earth because of the Earth's gravity. If there wasn't any gravity in that place, we wouldn't have satellites.
Also Sonic didn't fall to the Earth. He was saved by Tails with the Tornado, before burning out. Ok, it doesn't sound too convincing... but whatever.
And if you point out the "normal" ending in SAdv2... well, we never saw Sonic/Tails/etc when they escaped from Eggman's satellite. So they could have escaped after it entered the Earth's atmosphere.

Shadow was created as the ultimate lifeform, so that shouldn't be a problem. Also he fell from space when Maria sent him in a capsule to Earth, which proves that he can resist that type of fall withouth being burn out.

The main controls of the Death Egg were damaged during Sonic's battle against the mecha, causing the Death Egg to explode. We just didn't see that because they couldn't include a cutscene during a boss fight.

Gamma's story stated that the reason because Eggman's robots have animals inside them is so that they can have a real, organic brain.

That was a problem created by the translators. In the japanese storyline, that is his actual name.

...Isn't it obvious? Super Sonic can LEVITATE.
