So, i was looking to watch Sonic X for a bit of a trip down memory lane (I watched it all the time as a kid). But, I'm not sure where to find the episodes, or what the best way to watch it is. Yeah, I've heard all the "watch japanese version" stuff, and i was planning on doing it, but i have absolutely no idea where to find the japanese version, with subtitles, in a decent quality.
Sonic X seems to be available only in DVD/480p quality. I just checked and the usual anime torrent trackers have plenty rips of the above, both subs and dubs. There's even a 80GB torrent with raw DVD images if you're really nerdy.
Yeah, I uploaded that 80GB torrent, but unfortunately those rips aren't mine and I can't for the life of me remember where I got them. If I had those DVDs on hand we'd already have hi-res DVD cover scans and what have you. Anyways, as others have said, your best choice is Hulu, BUT if you don't live in the US there is a channel called MarioSonicToons on YouTube who has all the episodes (dubbed and subbed) and pilots. Those are the best options available right now. Just... avoid the hookonsonic2 uploads. The uploads on that channel use older HK bootleg subs which aren't too bad in terms of grammar but totally terrible translation-wise. Some of the time the subs are completely off from what they're actually saying... So in short, use Hulu, Kissanime, or MarioSonicToons, which all use official subs that are far more accurate.
