4th Annual Sonic Central announced for September 24th, 2024

These last two trailer went insane.

My expectations were exactly met, and somehow floored. I'm so happy this series is getting so much cool shit.

 

Yea these feel unnecessary. These could've all just been Twitter announcements. If even Pokemon struggles to have presentations dedicated to just the one series without boring people, than I don't think Sonic should do them. Regardless, the Sonic X Shadow trailer looked good and the DC crossover is... interesting.

 

I’m happy the DC crossover is gonna be so big. Toys is exactly what I wanted. Wonder Woman Amy is cute...so is Dulce Amy. They should make Mobile Variant toys.

It’s weird they didn’t reveal the Transformers toy. This was the perfect opportunity.

Always happy to hear they plan on doing more with the movie universe.

 

These are genuinely pretty hard to watch. Beyond the cringe factor of watching people who aren't comfortable being on camera, there's the fact that I have to witness the series' identity slip further and further away from what I appreciated about it.

Oh well, at least the actual game looks good enough and Dark Beginnings looks great. Embarrassingly, I actually gasped when I saw Mephiles lol.

Does anyone know where Ivo's shirt is from?

 

The shirts he was wearing were from the last Stray Rats collab. They're not available anymore though.

 

Most interesting thing to come out of this Central is the announcement of more animated shorts with the Chao Tales.

 

Oh well, maybe next time Spinball heads

 

I'm not exactly disappointed by this. These streams were never known for having major announcements.

 

The Sonic Lego section was genuily funny. idk, I thought it were a solid Central. I doubt State of Play will be any better than this btw.

 

Not hyped for the Days Gone remaster?
