I have enjoyed Sonic Colors on the Wii but their has always been a few issues which could easily be fixed with a PC port...

    1. The Wiimote controls are annoying and I don't have a GameCube Controller to use instead...
    2. The game runs at 30FPS, unless you use Dolphin Emulator you can't run the game in 60FPS
    3. The graphics are not in HD due to Wii specs, so unless you use Dolphin Emulator can't play the game in HD

Sonic Colors 1080p HD via Dolphin Emulator - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uxg4yvmndP4

    *edit*
    4. Mods could be added giving the game a lot of replay value similar to the Sonic Lost World PC port

    *edit 2*
    5. Online multiplayer so that I don't always have to play Game Land alone

    Play it in Dolphin.

I mean, I'd like a PC port as well but it seems like you could get what you want by just playing the game using Dolphin.

That's what I do but Dolphin requires a lot of GPU as well as audio stuttering which could easily be fixed in a PC port. Plus some of my friends don't have a Wii and want to play the game.

Wiis are ridiculously cheap nowadays; less than $50 used I think, even for models with GameCube ports. Colors is cheap as well; $6 at target.com.

A PC port would be nice if only to make it easier to run on less powerful towers; you need some fairly beefy specs to emulate Wii games. I have a mid-end AMD GPU that handles GameCube games at full speed, but it stutters when I test my (legitimate) Wii rips dumped from CleanRip.

Maybe I should check out Dolphin 5.0, though. The last stable version is said to be less optimized than the new release.

Even the local RetroAge in the Athens area had Wiis for $50. (While GameStop refurbs are $60.) That's where I got my Wii and I love it!

And if the laser's dying, they're $7 on average at eBay, or you could softmod it. There's never been a better time to pickup a Wii, if you don't already own a WiiU.

Dolphin 5.0 apparently runs better than the older versions so you use version 5.0 instead - https://dolphin-emu.org/download/

Its weird that even when I was younger I never enjoyed Sonic Unleashed but I really enjoyed Sonic Colors.
The problem with Unleashed is that after the first few Night levels the game got repetitive. :argh:

I tried replaying Unleashed earlier this month and I stopped after the first Night level because it was so boring. So to be honest if their is a PC port of Sonic Unleashed and it has Night levels I probably won't play it.

Luckily, there is a PC port of Sonic Unleashed minus the night levels.

It's a mod for Sonic Generations called the Unleashed Project :v:

  14. If his PC can't even handle dolphin, good luck with that. :v:
