There's nothing about it on the site, but they mentioned it on their ads on Facebook. June's Arcade Block is still open for another three days, so jump on it if you want it.

And as expected (according to the leaks), bonus games in tier 2 are Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Sonic Spinball & No Knuckles and Dr Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine.

So, aside from the Yogscast DLC for SASRT, I believe that's every Sonic-related piece of content on Steam. Not bad for $10, even if you already have some of the bigger games. Although feel free to port over the other Windows PC games to Steam as well Sega, like Sonic Riders, Sonic Heroes, Sonic R. Hell, make Sonic's Schoolhouse the 25th anniversary Classic Sonic game :P.

Sonic Unleashed as a PC port game for this year would be very nice (last post btw).

It would be great to have those available in digital distribution (ok, I admit that I don't have similar approach in case of Sonic's Schoolhouse, even if somehow I like this specific and a bit clunky atmosphere of applications from 90' for Windows 95/98 :P). Although I'm guessing that there is one chance to have them back (eventually on Steam too) - only if Sega will decide to publish their games on GOG. Due to the fact, that GOG's crew is probably at this moment one of the most relevant (and effective) of those who are "reviving" old games to adjust them for newer systems. There is quite a lot titles released on Steam after GOG's release, such as System Shock 2 or Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds.

But those japanese developers/publishers are so persistant to publish anything in DRM-free format :/

  7. I'm a bit curious. Is the version of 3D Blast based off of the Genesis, or the Saturn version? I've played CD enough times that I can pass on it, but I've never played the Saturn 3D Blast.

Unfortunately, it's Mega Drive/Genesis version (emulated in the same way as other MD Sonic games from this bundle).

Have you tried the SEGA PC release of 3D Blast from 10+ years ago? Not sure how easy it would be to download these days, but it's an interesting lightweight port of the Saturn release (slightly different special stages and visual effects, but contains all the CD music).

Not sure how well it would run on Windows 7/8/10 either but it could be a good solution if the Genesis 3D Blast is starting to get stale.

I would suggest to play emulated Saturn version over playing the PC version because special stages are better there. Still genesis version's special stages are probably the worst of the three but Saturn version is definitely superior to PC version.

So how does one go about getting the tier 2 bonus games? I paid $15 and I don't seem to have them. Should I be looking for an email?

Found myself double dipping for the Steam version of Sonic CD anyway, and I got Sonic Adventure DX out of it, so not a bad deal.

What I didn't realize until now was that I had access to digital copies of the Sonic comics, oops. I might put the epubs on my phone and archive the PDFs for reading at my leisure from the TV some time. :specialed:

This bundle is insane. Half of the games are $10+ each. There's well over $100 worth of stuff here.

Your download page (in the original email) should be updated with a fourth key for the new games.
