That sucks, though I do know a couple of people interested in drawing Sonic comics... I might see if they're interested in joining up, does location matter? One's from the USA, though I'm showing her the original comic at the moment...
I'm from Belgium, we've had people from France, Asia, USAand even Australia. I think it's not a problem
Just making sure, some people tend to get nationalistic with projects. I'm gonna teach them the StC first before I send them your way, at least get them into it first :L
There's been a slight delay, yes... as usual might I say :P Last I heard, there might be a story about Tikal. The story is all finished, so it might be in the upcoming issue.
Hahaha Well, if you're curious about future stories, I've recently finished drawing a two-parter with the Chaotix and Shadow, and I've finished the first part of a Sonic-Blaze two parter.
Ooo, nice. I've talked with a few of my artist friends, three are interested in the comic and I've guided them on how to apply, so it's up to them now. One's on the fence because she wants to do it, but doesn't have as much time. Would it be possible for me to stand in and colour her work for her when she draws it, should she opt in?
New issue! On Nigel Kitching's birthday, no less! http://stconline.co.uk/267/controlzone.html What ever will that pesky Super do next, huh? :D feat colours by meeeeee, :B
Great issue! Looks like shits goin to be seriously belly up^^ I also really love the colors on the Tikal strip, reminds me so much of the early StC issues. You are doing really great work with StC-O. BTW I still remember when we got our last StC issue here in Germany. For so many months I still went to the kiosks and asked if there's a new issue and they always told me there isn't any. And it got cancelled here in the middle of the Deathegg saga. I think the last story we got was when they've beaten Robotnik on the Floating Island. I definately remember that in the preview of the last issue was a pic of Predicto. That preview made it's cancellation here even more cruel. You can't imagine how happy I was when I found out that the UK issues were running for so much longer several years ago. Also: Happy Birthday, Mr Kitching!
The Sonic [or should I say Super Sonic] strip was wonderful - not to mention the terrifying ending! The Tikal strip story was basically ripped straight out of that Doctor Who episode with the creatures which feed on dreams.
Oh damn, now we've gotta wait another couple of months for the next issue. So much gloriousness! So much time between... Still, interesting to learn that Silver is capable of actually hurting Super Sonic. I mean, sure Tails hurt him in Issue 184, but I figured that was because he was still recovering from his near-drained state. This time he was full power and still got hurt... Oh, also, Super Sonic's planning... HOLY S + - HI T SUPER SONIC'S PLANNING?! + - Also that last panel looks Evan Stanley-ish...
Not just planning... but planning while he was "trapped" inside normal, cool, blue Sonic's subconscious as well! Ole Super is becoming more and more his own entity whilst still being a part of Sonic! eeee. *bites nails* What I find most interesting is, Super seems to recall everything Sonic does, as though he is aware while Sonic is in control... however blue Sonic doesn't have the same luxury; IIRC he still "blacks out" while Super is in control. That's quite frightening, I think.
He's getting good at Hyde-ing his intentions... -shot- I wonder how they'll deal with Super/Hyper Sonic. Also, no Dark Knight Returns Ball reference ;A;
Remember that our strips are written months in advance, so I doubt the writer ever saw that episode Told you guys to be hyper hyped
We know, we also noted that the Grey Emerald would be involved in someway. Funnily enough, this is exactly how I thought it would go down ;P
