I needed to make these official. One problem is I have forgot what the wierd data names I used stood for.

So is anyone willing to help test this out? One help would be to read the Sonic Advance 3 hacking guide because it uses the same format I guess. Also I got all the pointers from a Zone header. That header needs to be documented as well. Feel free to help!

    This may be of help:

    Eh?

All except teh last link re-directs me to a site that talks about identity theft and earning money at home.

    Is this just me?

    *Runs Spybot and Ad-Aware*

EDIT: I ran my programs, and it still won't send me to the correct site!

In IE, it sends me to SHIT, but the 2nd and third links still won't give me anything worthwhile (gives me a Yahoo error page in Portugese)

    LOst: That's pretty cool.

Kampfer: Yeah, your browser was jacked. No problems here.

It's actually fairly easy to do so, just time consuming.
-The game's art is all decompressed.
-The text is in a variant of ASCII and quite changeable.
-The GBA palletes are... well... GBA palletes.
-The audio is all PCM. Anyone with an audio editor couldre-dub all the characters.
-Icy Guy made a good documentation on the game. Well, I think the only documentation there is.
All you need is time and imagination.

LOst, I think I'll take a look at this. I assume it's excellent work. We need more GBA hacking.

    EDIT:
I corrupted for a pretty long distance after each offset you give for leaf forest act one. None of them yeilded noticable changes to the level =/. And I'm sure my ROM corruptor's fine.

I probably have the Japanese version. I got it when it was first dumped in 2003.

Haha, I know. No one really corrupts anymore.

    *plug* :D

Sonic 65 wrote his own documentation, but I don't have a link handy, so I'll have to attach it. Very in-depth guide. If you use information from both my guide and his guide, you'll be able to make TEH ULTIMATE SONIC BATTLE HAX! (Speaking of hacks, I was actually working on a "beta hoax" hack a while back, but that didn't get far.)

Except me, although I can understand why the art of corrupting has gone the way of the dodo.
