I don't think so. Chaos was a mutated version of the Chao. The Nega Wisps were essentially a mutated version of the Chao in Colors. I feel that the Deadly Six are connected to the Wisps in some way (why else would the Wisps be here?), but I do not think that they are connected in such a close manner.

 

And even then I'm loathe to call it consistent. Sonic 3&K looks very different from Sonic [1], 2 and CD, and to a lesser extent, [1] and CD look different from 2. That's not even counting things like the Game Gear games (not a single one sharing even the same sprite for Sonic - although the same can't be said for the Master System versions, where [1] and 2 share a sprite) or Spinball.

 

...What? I've never seen or read anything that supports this claim.

Probably no vocal. I'm expecting something like "Theme of Sonic Colors" from Colors and "World Adventure" from Unleashed that Ohtani also made using an orchestra, which were in fact the themes of these two games.

We also had Black Knight and Secret Rings with themes like this.

I forget that since 2006, we have had 2 sets of main themes the vocal and the in-game one. this is just the in-game one and theres no announced vocal yet.

What is with the lack of Crush 40 involvement as of late? what was the last game they did a main title in? Don't think free riders counts.

 

Actually, I think the last game that Crush 40 as a vocal band composed a theme song for was Sonic and the Black Knight.

They did do "Sonic Youth" for Sonic's 20th anniversary, if that means anything.

That reminds me, was it ever said that Sonic Heroes as the invincibility theme was only temporary? It's a good invincibility song, but it seems weird to make that the one Crush 40 presence.

 

To be fair, though, a strategy guide was responsible for the mess that was Super/Hyper Shadow, despite the game telling you plain as day that if Shadow 'runs out of rings, he'll lose his super form'. People still ran with this information like it was gospel, however.

However, as it's mentioned on Sonic Channel, I believe we can let it slide. =P
