    I'm doing this poll out of pure curiosity. I would have made it the favorite Sonic game of all time poll, except I don't want to spark a flamewar between old-school fans and new-school fans.
    I also wanted to pledge my allegiance to Sonic CD. Long live the time warp!

    I have no vote for this, as, as you have included Sonic CD, which was on an add-on for the genesis, Chaotix has my vote. This 32x game has the best graphics, the most ingenuitive gameplay, and the most amazing special stages, yes, even better than Sonic CD's.

    Oh yeah, I forgot about Chaotix. Must be one of those "out-of-sight-out-of-mind" things; I've never even seen a copy of Chaotix in person, much less played it. Anyway, if you want to vote for Chaotix, just vote null (or don't vote), and say so in your post.

    Leaping through time, putting things right that once went wrong, and hoping each time that the next leap will be the leap home.
    I voted for Sonic CD. It has some of my favorite Sonic music (in the Japanese version) and I loved the time travel feature. It turned 21 levels into 70! And the race agains Metal Sonic was the best boss fight ever.

    I voted S2, and heres my reasoning. First off, I'm here at the Simon Wai SONIC 2 Beta board. Secondly, out of all the sonic games I play Sonic 2 the most.

    I voted null, because there was a three way tie between Sonic 2, 3 & Knuckles, and CD, which, besides the poor soul that voted for 3D Blast, were the only ones that were voted for anyway :D

    3D Blast had the best music I ever heard in a MegaDrive game. Too bad the game sucked.

    Knuckles Chaotix, with Sonic CD nearly tied. Since CD is the only one on the list, I'll pick that.

    Sonic CD. The Japanese soundtrack ruled, there was the Super Peel Out, Time Travel, some of the nicest looking levels in Sonic history (Just look at Stardust's Past) and of course, the greatest Sonic boss of all time, METAL SONIC.

    I'm glad to see that you see it my way. Stardust Speedway Act/Zone 3 is indeed the among the coolest boss fights I've ever fought in a videogame, since it's not actively a fight as much as a race.
