Seeing as the Nocturnus hate the Legion and have warred with them before, I don't see that as likely IF that is where they were sent (They should be though, I want to see a Chronicles adaption come from this).

Yeah, its not Megadrive, but doesn't the GBA have 16-bit color support too? I don't know what that means, but doesn't it allow for the "16-bit" nomer?

 

It doesn't matter. When you can see the sprite of Retro Tails in the background in the biplane, the whole unity of the cover while Sonic Advance is stupidly kicking Megaman 8 in the foreground collapses. At least the Megaman cover variant is completely consistent with the era its sprite work comes from.

It's like they just pulled sprites at random instead of looking into creating maybe original work that fit. It honestly feels like I'm about to read a terribly done sprite comic book. Except this is officially published.

Ouch. I think they should have contacted Sonica about making an original Sonic kick frame so as to have something to throw on there that's original and unifies the piece. But to me, I think he may be an unknown to them. Really sucks.

 

It's not as big a deal as people are saying, all the other styles are clashing as well. Bass there is from 8, Mega Man is from 7, Metal from CD, etc.

 

Megaman from 7 looks good with Metal from CD. However, they should either create a new sprite for the Sonic cover or change Tails from a Genesis sprite to an Advance one.

I'm pretty sure there's Tornado sprites with Tails from the Advance series.

Monkey Khan Robot Master?

Wow. I thought we weren't letting the Archie Characters in this storyline. The pig and Green guy I have no clue on though. Unless they're supposed to be Robot Masters of Genesis badniks, which I can already think of the obvious ones here.

Pretty cool stuff. I think they've been really anticipating the moment this comes out.

 

They are The Genesis Unit from Mega Man: The Wily Wars for the Mega Drive.

(I swear I can give Ian Flynn a run for his money in the trivial knowledge department...)
