Well I guess I'm the biggest idiot ever, because I thought XBOX Live updated at like 4am and I can't find this demo.

Oh well, maybe they meant Wednesday after all. It's not the end of the world I guess, especially if PSN users have to wait a week.

 

Actually, Xbox Live has been updated with two new demos. It's just that Sonic Generations isn't one of them.

 

I thought XBLA updates around noon.

I would give it a few more hours.

 

It's already updated. Just Dance 2 for your enjoyment.

 

Wait, so only the US gets the game on thre 1st?

Fuck. That shattered my happiness.

Yeah? You guys across the pond get that really awesome Collector's Edition. I think an extra 72 hours would be worth it for that.

The press release states the 19th. Not the 18th.

I just thought, for ages, it was the 1st for EU as well, it's a bit of a let down.

 

Since when have any European game releases happened on a Tuesday? I thought it was fairly consistently Fridays.

In fact, Friday releases makes more sense for a variety of reasons...

Well...The Deal of the Week hasn't updated so if that updates and no Generations then tomorrow I guess.

Still says the 18th. and the press release has a typo showing that it hasn't been updated with the correct infomation.

And isn't SEGA America is in charge of Digital Distribution? and they're located in California? if so, its only 8:32am. we should chill out for a bit.

I hope it's because it's been added late rather than a delay.

 

Seems more like SEGA's community managers were misinformed. The demo will probably come out tommorow.

 

There have been times where demos like this have gone up late in the evening - 6 and 7pm.

 

Man, I woke up earlier than usual just to see if you guys had already taken apart the demo! And it's not even up yet?

Now this may mean absolutely nothing, but I've noticed that when I search Sonic now on the Xbox.com site, Sonic Generations has moved from 1st to 6th overall in the list. I could mean nothing, but it could mean they're doing some tinkering.

Seeing as how we determined the level list in this game by toy packaging, this is just as farfetched and pointless of an observation, but it could be right, just like the level list.

 

Eh, the o page for it on the UK XBL site is still list only three downloadable items, all videos.

It's different for downloadable content, and this is just a demo. XBL usually updates on a Wednesday and that's when demo's are release. There was an update today however, which was kinda weird.
