New set of Sonic-themed drinking glasses

    Gathering information on Sega World Sydney and collecting Sonic merchandise.
    Normally, drinking glasses aren't new-topic worthy, but when I saw these, I just had to post them.

    These are a new, officially liscensed product produced by Stunned Mind. They're sold in sets of 4 and should be avalible as specialty gift stores in the US. They cost $30 per set. I can only say one thing - DO WANT!

    The art is great. I can never have too much classic Sonic. I wish there was a way for me to get them. And I wish I didn't break glasses all the time... I would probably never use these in order to protect them! =)

    Never for years has Sonic looked so good, all they need now are some name lables printed on the glasses too.

    If only I were living in the US though...

    Isn't the only reason classic sonic merch persists is because some company owns manufacturing rights explicity for classic sonic designs? I can't imagine why SUPERIOR JAPAN SEGA would let people use the old stuff.

    Too expensive. They look like regular old glasses and at that price I can get some very nice, very fancy glasses... that I wouldn't be embarrassed to take out during a visit from the boss.

    $30 for four pint glasses is ridiculous. You have to love the obscene markup when they're targeting adults, not children.

    I want these too but I afraid when shipping, they might break :/. Easier is to paint on by yourself on the glass :P.

    They used the classic designs and they're beautiful... But that's way too expensive for me.

    Has that art been used before somewhere? I don't recognize it but I might not be looking hard enough. :v:
