    A secret. >:3
I like his Spindash sprite.

  4. We've known about this for quite some time now....
Heck a few people did it at SoS.
Honestly, you have to be trying, to get that kind of a result.

We just better hope they've fixed that.

    EDIT:

Before Polygon Jim murders you; its not a sprite, its a model.

Those rotating spindash frames on the loop, what the hell? I didn't see the spinning frames rotate, why can't they do the same thing here?

    All the bitches.

I've never had it happen a single time in my life in any of the Genesis titles, yet it happens every single time you slow down on a loop in S4.

All I did to get that to happen was hold down on the ramp before the loop. He stopped right there, and crouched. Granted, he didn't stay there for that long, but the fact that I can spindash there remains.

    All the bitches.

That already makes it nothing like the problem in S4, you can stay there forever, you never fall, you can crouch, walk in place, or whatever the fuck you want.

  14. Whatever dude.
The problem has existed for a long time now.
We've known about it. We've complained about it, SEGA said they'd do something about it.

Why keep bringing it up now?

The glitch in Sonic 3 happens because in that game you don't have to be at a complete stop to start a spindash, but the glitch in Sonic 4 happens because Dimps has a stranger understanding of programming gravity.

    All the bitches.

Just because there was recent footage of it from GamesCom.

This. Unless those screenshots are from a new build, then there's no point in bringing the issue up.

  18. That is still the E3 build (unless you have proof to the contrary).
What difference does it make which convention it came from?

Ultimately that means nothing. The build there at GamesCom was old, so nothing was different. That said, I'd not be surprised if this was still what we in the final build.

EDIT: From Doctor Eggman at SSMB comes the latest NP scan. It should put an end to the argument about level select (it mentions that you can play the stages in any order):
