Sonic the Hedgehog Hacking Contest 2010

Well hooray, I guess I'm not entering. :|

Next year perhaps.

EDIT: It's a shame too, I could have been in with a chance of winning that Knuckles Trophy.

 

Well, I wish I could've entered this year, but alot of stuff sorta got in the way. Oh well, next year I'll def enter.

 

I am totally going to participate in the skypecast thingy again this year, that was the best part of last year's contest.

 

I wonder if ColinC10 entered anything this year.

 

When will the list of submitted hacks be revealed? =P

Excuse my ignorance, but what exactly is the purpose of the skypecast, and when is it?

 

It's a live podcast where the results are announced. It will take place at a suitable time after the judging is done.

 

I'd love to participe too, since I enjoyed the last one pretty much. And for the time.. I hope I can fix my headset as fast as possible. =P

 

Added to the list. Anyone else who is asking, the podcast won't take place for a while since it usually takes a few weeks to judge things. An announcement will be made when the podcast will be taking place. This year, it will be live as well as being recorded.

 

Hmm, I'll see if I can get some speakers sorted soon.

I was also wondering that myself, no doubt he'll probably bring up something out of the deapest blue possible, that'll be mouth watering of course =P

Oh man. Oh man. Holy shit. If this is what I'm hoping it is, do want.

 

Did he perhaps combine the two into one game? That'd be pretty cool if he did. But I have no idea what this could be. His hacks are always awesome.

An interesting project would be combining Sonic 2 and S3K due to the fact that they have similar plots. S3K would have to have a lot of the crap cut out of it though and only the essentials could be copied from Sonic 2.

 

I dunno if it'd be possible on the Genesis, but seeing the complete Death Egg Saga updated on the Retro Engine or something would be all kinds of fuckwin.
