That was uninteresting, cause you were just playing through the paths you don't normally take. In fairness though, FBZ is feeble in terms of character exclusive paths.

 

I think that FBZ is the only level that has paths accessible by every character besides DEZ. I'm surprised you even made a video for this level to be honest.

I really hate to be especially off topic, but why and how exactly does that happen? I'm getting the exact same problems here with WMM. How do I remedy this and get the true colors?

I don't want to have to use another video editor to finish my video project (which would effectively mean starting over from scratch) and I refuse to use Live Movie Maker, that thing is a piece of shit. How can I fixed this?

EDIT: Added more pics. Also, you could split this if you want. I was gonna make a topic about this but then I saw these posts earlier, and I thought I use them to elaborate my problem.

 

The color problems are probably due to WMV files using the YUV color space while the source files are using RGB. I had to convert my source AVI files to WMV in a different converter before I put them in Windows Movie Maker. After that it turned out fine.

 

OKei and RGamer, what you're experiencing is a problem that seems exclusive to Vista's version of WMM. For some reason when a movie is published, the colors turn out awful and inaccurate. However, with XP's version of the program, it turns out fine. This, along with a faster render rate and more versatility with volume control, make XP's version of WMM much better.

You can download an executable version of XP's WMM here. If you do, make sure to download it to Program Files. You can still use any projects that were used with your other WMM, but you'll have to import media again. Also, both WMMs will share the same media collections, so if you import media into XP's WMM and use Vista's WMM again, it will have to be imported into XP's WMM all over again. To avoid accidentally opening up Vista WMM, make a shortcut of XP WMM to the desktop and open it from there.


I hope this helps. I hated Vista's WMM, so finding a standalone version of XP's was a great relief.

In that same link you provided, where exactly do you want me to click on? I see a "portable" Window Movie Maker and a Window Movie Maker 2.6 for Vista. I believe you wouldn't want me to click on the Vista one since Vista's causing the problem in the first place and XP is the one you directed to me to, but I just want to be double sure. Thanks.

EDIT: OK, I just downloaded the "portable version" and it has nothing but Trojans in it. So... help?

 

Here's another question about WMM: If you use Movie Maker than how is the quality so good? Mine sucks and the audio will rape your ears.

Okay, that's definitely not supposed to happen. I have a program that checks downloads for anything like that and it appeared to be fine. So far the program hasn't given me any problems either. Uninstall and delete any components of the program and do anything to scan/delete the trojans.

If I had known the thing had such a problem I wouldn't had ever suggested it. I really hope I didn't put your computer in danger.

 

McAfee detected and removed the trojans. After that, Windows Movie Maker started crashing more often (like as soon as I open the file, it crashes.) Also, I opened the portable version and yet I received no problems other than not opening the project file I wanted to use. =/

This should really be split into a topic of its own. Mods?

EDIT: OK, I decided to just upload the damn thing as it is with the slight discoloration. The video I was working is really a music video of sorts and wasn't really the heart of the project, it was best not to get to picky over it.
