I need knuckles' chaotix sprites, and not the characters, the rest of it, like the little spinning things that pop up from the boxes when you hit them. (I really need those) My computer is too slow to run a 32x emulator, or I'd do it myself.

I also need sonic 3-d blast sprites, no sonic sprites. Saturn or megadrive will be good. I'm putting up a "sprite archive" on my web site for us "KILL KILL KILL!!!! (The Games Factory)" people who hate the games factory and realize it is indeed crap.

    Also needed:

64x64 px tilesets of important pieces of levels. (any game)

Just another reason why I should be affiliated with S2B. (and any other websites, but I'm really trying to be affiliated with S2B)

I will give credit to people who post sprites or links to sprites, so get sending!

I have many sprites already, including like 5000 sonic frames of animation, so don't post Sonic Stuff, also if you can save posting images up and put them as links it'd be appreciated as Simon will save board space.

That was mostly characters, which I don't need and there is enough other sprite web sites out there with characters on them that it wouldn't be worth putting up a new web page for them.

  4. I smell a war between SFGHQers who use TGF (many new tutorials for TGF really do a good job at simulating to some extend Sonic's proper movement from the Sega Genesis games) and you and the TGF Haters.

As I always say, if you don't like it, ignore it and let those who like it like it withjout making them feel like crap

Just outta curiosity, why do you hate TGF so much?

  6. and what is the point of showing the hatrid for TGF if it will only get you bad rap by people (excluding your fellow "TGF haters"

Cuz TGF, IMO, is crap and wayy to overpriced, when you could get Gamemaker, which is updated way more often, and the registered version is now only $18 US, and plus, you aren't as restricted as you are with TGF (you can still make executables if you aren't registered in GM). Plus, TGF puts an ad when you close the game, even if you did pay!

  8. Maybe you haven't tinkered with it long enough, I find it very good with all the extentions, and the Sonic How-Tos on SFGHQ

$18 is as much as a CD costs here, yet people still shell out money for it, I dunno. Bad analogy. I agree that it is overpriced, though.

Funny, I have regestered home (NOT Pro), and I get no such ad. Please provide proof.

Personally, thisisn't such a wise idea, for reasons I stated before. (being flamed by TGF users, people just not caring, ETC)

EDIT: No wonder I can't download the other program to compare the two, Gamemaker is for MAC! :P

http://www.gamemaker.nl is the website. And last time I check/downloaded/registered when it cost $15, its windows only.

If I only had your determination...

Or is that just ignorance, annoyanceness, lack of common sense, idiocy and stupidity?

(PS: TGF is quite good, if you know and take the time to learn it correctly.)

truely :( But, before we turn this topic from sprites to which is better, GameMaker or Clickteam products, we should make another topic for that.

  15. I have tried it, confusing to put it very simply. I will tinker with it more though before makign final judgement.

I tried both of them for quite a while and don't really like either of them. I do prefer MMF over them but if I had to choose one or the other than I would have to go with TGF.

On a side note, could someone post the runtime for MMF? I made a game but when attempting to compile it it says I am using the wrong version. (Yet it works perfectly otherwise.)
