Am I the only one who was the last one to know about these secret animations???? Anyway, these are news to me as well. I can't really say for sure since I only got Holoska, and I didn't fill the video section entirily yet.

Oh, are those the only ones? I thought someone said there were more...

  3. If you go to your videos menu, there are three extra spaces after the last scene (where Sonic falls from the sky again and runs with the Tornado). I would assume those are for those videos.

To get the secret animations: go to the appropriate hub and give Chip a bunch of food he likes. I think you need to be good enough friends with Chip that you get the BFF achievement.

I unlocked all three, and there aren't enough slots on the menu for any more. As you may know, there's one for Adabat, Holaska, and Chun-Nan.

My favorite Werehog combo is X X A (Sho Hog Ken), followed by B to do a spinning pile driver. It also seems to be important to learn what moves are guard breakers, the fastest one I know of is Y Y X X (The Donkey Kick).

This brings me to my next point, which is that this game overuses QTE's. I don't like QTE's because if you're going to put the button on screen, you might as well make that the only thing on screen and it doesn't affect the player. That, and the QTE's in the daytime stages (the ramp ones in particular) just seem arbitrarily placed. Unlike the red ramps that send you higher if you're going faster, the only bearing the player has on the yellow (QTE) ramps is whether or not they do the QTE.

    OH yeah... my bad.

Well mine is due back in an hour... so I'm gonna go blast through all the day time stages (cept for Adabat) one last time.

I'm to poor and lazy to rent it. Besides, why rent something you know you're going to love?

He still acts and talks like he's ten years old, when in fact he's 15 or 16. Old School Sonic actually acted his age.

Well if it's the 360 version you could just install the game onto your hard drive. Unless, God for bid video stores started putting a code or a patch in the games that keeps you from doing that...

...you have to have the game in the drive to play it off your HDD.

Perhaps it's just me but in the first stage of Chun-nan on the 360 version as warehog, there's a really nasty section which seems to be an unfair death even Yuji Naka would have found depressing?

You go across the lake killing enemies in several sections with a couple of 1-ups in (so you can keep trying this section over and over) - and springing to the next bit on those pole things that you tap B for, and once you get across there are some climbing polls and horizontal polls to swing across to get to the next part. When you jump from the first poll to the next, the lock-on does not appear and you fall to your death 99.9% of the time, regardless of when or how you jump from the first poll.

I've had about 30 goes of it, and unless I'm missing something obvious, it seems next to impossible to get across this part, seems really buggy to me. Certainly does not feel like my fault.

  13. Guys, bomb ass deal on Amazon for Sonic Unleashed.
Use code UNLEASH5 to take five dollars off each version, but right now, using the code could yield you the 360 version for 21 dollars, the PS2 version for 10 dollars, or the Wii version for 25 dollars. You can't beat that price.

Yeah I just saw. I have the 360 and Wii versions, but I just picked up the PS2 version.

  15. Yeah, I'm temped to get the PS2 version just to see the differences from the 360 version, but nah.

It's not really worth it, but I can't pass up owning every sonic game I can get my hands on.

EDIT: But it'll be neat to see the difference between it and the wii version.

I just got to last boss, but have yet to get past a certain part

Seriously, gaia collus, this isn't power rangers, they just ruined what was set to be a great final boss with the lamest slowest thing in the whole game. I really want to find the guy who came up with that idea, and punch him so so hard in the face. Super Sonic better be next, and it better be good to make up for that crap

Anyways, Eggman land was unreasonably hard, so I don't plan on re-visting any time soon.

Unleashed is good, but there is too many little flaws that are irritating me. Mainly were-hog though. As long as Sonic Team don't try forcing that crap on us again I'm good.

  19. You're unreasonably bad at video games.

    Nah, just messin.

There are indeed parts of the level that make want to give up, but I'm not above coming back to try again. It's a great stage if you can appreciate the fact that it's hard because it's the last level, and in this genre, last levels should be this hard.
