lol, you beat me to the punch on commenting on that passage. Heh.

Okay, seriously. Coming from a Sonic Underground community where its argued over who Sonic, Manic and Sonia's parents are, I'm used to this sort of nonsense coming up, but that doesn't make it any less silly. I wouldn't argue on Shadow being Silver's Dad as they have similar facial features, so that's a very plausible theory/assumption, but Rouge being his Mom? Oh, gag me. Granted he has fur similar to Rouge's, if Rouge was his Mom he'd be part bat. I don't see Silver with any bat wings or anything of that nature, do you? Nope.

Like I say though, I wouldn't argue about Shadow possibly being Silver's Dad. They look similar in the face and eyes, plus Silver's psychic powers could be something of a different version of Shadow's Chaos powers. *shrugs* But... that's just me. I'll shut up now, before someone smacks me for even making these statements. lol.

Edit/Add: What the spork? Looking at Amy's character profile, Sonic 3 is listed in the games she's appeared in. Did I miss something big time, or did I just have a brain fart? 'Cause ATM, I'm fairly sure Amy wasn't in Sonic 3.

To me, Sakura does give a good point, though I have never really looked at Silver on close detail.

Of course it is all guessing but to me, the point is perfectly logical and gives reasons to back it up.

 

But still, Shadow... and ROUGE?? (What, a one-night stand, while she otherwise continues to attempt to catch the eye of that wily echidna?)

It took my a little while to figure out that this is probably just AAUK's sense of humor or something, but even still - why plaster that kind of shit on an official website? I can't really say I find it funny at all - it's quite unprofessional, and the entire thought of that kind of "offspring" in the Sonic games is just fucking ludicrous. Some of the plothole exploitation also annoys me a little, considering it just further influences that one-way mindset of the average Sonic fan that "WE MUST QUESTION ALL THAT ISN'T CANON" instead of just accepting that not every continuation has to be the same and moving on. But, still, it does give a lot more information than Sonic Central, and a lot of the more obscure Sonic trivia is pretty interesting to see publicized. Not too shabby for an official English site.

However...:

I'd really preffer it if this were worded differently. It makes it seem like Tails is really a tomboy or something... Ewww. :P

 

Thanks Flygon. As for Sonic/Amy being Silver's parents, I seriously don't think so. The only two things that could hardly connect him to either of them would be his innocent nature and mental powers possibly connecting him to Amy as per her innocent nature/use of Tarot cards, and that's pretty dinky for evidence.
