Sonic 1 Megamix

I don't know if this has been an answered question Tweaker, but are the Megamix levels going to have art changes or will they remain palette edits and level layout changes?

 

The thing I remember most about Sonic CD is than when you left Sonic alone for a while, he goes and fucks off and jumps of the screen, instant GameOver! Almost like a punishment as such!

Ever thought about stuff like that? Little random things that make the game special?

Nice add-on, man. Now, one question, will that pose as sonic falling like that only going to happen when you fall down from a spring? Or will it show even after you 'walk' off an edge?

 

Sounds like a good idea, but in case he decides to implement it, the animation should get enabled only when Sonic isn't touching the ground and he reaches a certain falling speed, or else he'd look a bit wierd when running over small gaps.

Uh... I mean... from the picture, Sonic appears to have travelled 4 seconds back in time, and is going up for 1 of those seconds, before coming down again.

it's just a gif. besides, it's meant to show off the pose, not the timer. And im sure we all get the idea...

 

I kinda figured that out when I first saw it, which was when it was first posted. I had to contribute my randomness to the topic. =P

Anyway, Tweaks... looks great.

 

Only the foreground done for now, but the background will also be replaced when I decide what I'm doing with it. The foreground was bad enough for one nights work anyway.
