To be honest this leak has helped me decide not to get the season pass.

If Tangle and Whisper are coming, I wonder if that means that SEGA's going to lock down voice actors for them. They could get away with not doing that and just having them be mute, but it'd be a letdown, honestly. I think Dawn M. Bennet would kill it as Tangle, personally. Also hoping Surge and Kit make the jump at some point too.

 

Leak had an opposite effect for me. If they're not doing a foot racer, then the only thing they could have done to get me on board with the game was go nuts with the non-Sonic representation. I was hoping for Ecco and Akira, but this is way more out there and sick as hell. I hope there's more crazy picks.

 

if they're going nuts with non-SEGA characters, I demand a Namcot DLC pack:

Racing tracks:
- That one Ridge Racer track. You know the one. And it plays Drive U 2 Dancing
- Phantomile (from Klonoa, not Ridge Racer Type-4)

Crossworlds:
- Splatterhouse
- Xevious
- Racing on a giant Katamari ball as it keeps pulling in more things gravitationally

Characters:
Klonoa
Wonder Momo
Mappy
Ki (from Tower of Druaga/Quest of Ki)
Lucky & Wild
Jack Slate (from Dead to Rights)
Sharon from Numan Athletics, and just to fuck with "why is Sonic on a car?" people, she doesn't actually drive a car, she just runs.

The Solvalou from Xevious
P-Jack from Tekken (you ride on him like a surfboard)

 

do a mario sonic crossover you cowards. i want sonic in mario kart and mario in sonic racing crossworlds. i want mario to race along zavok, spongebob and hatsune miku

I think an under discussed aspect of this game is the social options and the emote system.

We don't know how this game's is going to really function, but has any one thought of the sketch hog interpretation of all these characters?

 

Crazy how nearly every non-Sega suggestion in here has been actually good, unlike what we're getting

 

Yes, sketchhog + - SpongeBob   has been in my head among other characters. Maybe I should draw them when I have the time.

 

I think these crossovers are funny. I don't really care about these characters personally, but I DO hope they are voiced. There was no voice in the videos, and while I don't hate a crossover, I DO hate a LAZY crossover...

If you ain't gonna do it right, don't do it at all.

Looks like we can count with Sweet Mountain in both Sonic Rumble and CrossWorld.

 

wishing I could exist in fiction so I could be in the MCU and meet Dr. Strange, as we'd go to the basement to perform the spell to remove people's memories I'd go "make everyone forget the possibility of IP crossovers" and save us from the past decade of increasing slop
