    I made a note in the Customization stuff to let me stack stickers and to let me put it everywhere on the kart, not just the front and back.

    I need ENDLESS Stickers

    I told em character stats are stupid and Zeena is awesome, if they listen to me that's an instant pre-order and we all win.

    Tbh I'm not even sure the game will release this year. It seems like they got some amount of a flexible schedule.

    I'm watching this game from a distance because I'm not sure I care enough, but those low frame rate chao audience animations and GOOD GOOD GOOD GOOD. Can we not do better than this in 2025?

    Music sounds very placeholder-y. Though I said the same about Sonic Superstars and... well.

    Chalk another one up for item balance, controls, boat drifting, and customization. While I liked the system, most of the customization options for skills felt useless, and it wasn't helped by the races themselves. Sonic Stadium put it well that this feels like Mario Kart GP style Arcade racing, which is fine for 10 minute stints at an arcade, but at home, it just made this too annoying to play. Why race my heart out when all it takes is getting item fucked to kill all momentum and winning actually feels like luck? The times I played, after finishing a session, I never felt satisfied. Just stressed out and exhausted. I already have enough in life making me feel that way, so this was not a desired outcome

    I'd be fine skipping this one after skipping TSR because it feels like whatever brilliant racing design they had in Transformed has long been thrown out for some weird gimmicks and poor driving feel

    I feel like they compromised really well. They sensibly have character stats but also allow you to use all kart types with all characters (unlike TSR). So characters aren't just clones but also aren't railroaded into certain strict playstyles.

    I mostly got used to how different the karts function compared to ASRT but the constant item flying doesn't appeal to me especially since there's few ways to defend yourself, the vehicle transformations are a major step down compared to ASRT.

    I really don't know if I like this thing of teleporting to other maps... Yeah it's original, but sometimes you just want to play THAT map and maybe this ruins it... The best thing would be to make it an optional feature in all game modes, but being the thing that gives name to the game, I doubt it.

    And another thing I've read from the beta players is that Cream and the chaos are easilly surpassed by the rest of characters.

    Let's see how it goes.

    +1 to endless stickers! It's like the 50% of the fun on the customization part. The PS3 game Modnation Racers alowed I spent countless hours using the stickers.

    From the beta, it really seems as though your car has the biggest impact on your stats by by far. You choice of character only really acts as a modifier those stats. Cream was a relatively popular choice for players in the beta tbh! Not as popular as Sonic and Shadow, but there was normally a player or two using her in every lobby. Knuckles on the other hand was barely ever chosen. I was often the only human player using him. It felt like even Omega was getting picked more often.

    I'd have to review my stream vods but Knuckles was a top character for me.

    Top 5 in order. There was always multiples of these
    Shadow
    Sonic
    Amy
    Cream
    Knuckles

    There was always at least 1 Eggman, or Zazz in every race. Barely saw Omega.

    I saw Sonic, Shadow, Cream as by far the most popular characters. Some occasionally playing Amy and Tails. No one ever played Knuckles and Eggman (especially) or Omega. Except me of course! I forgot Zazz existed...

    This is gonna sound dumb, but I dislike how they wasted resources putting in Zavok and Zazz in this game. Instead of putting characters from games people like more, like Tikal, Choas, Emerl, Marine, etc.

    These characters could still make it in, but I don't know who Zavok and Zazz are made for exactly.

    In fairness I think a lot of Sonic characters could be classified as nobodies in the eye of the public

    Or you're doing a joke and I can't tell lol
