Movie Sonic has zero rizz I'm afraid, he's very adorkable.

It'd be pretty funny if they ever got Lacey Chabert in these films

 

I wanna believe him, I really do, but I just can't. Every time I see "Gerald", I'm reminded this can't be the story I love.

Well I’ll be.

i don’t really care about that character, and their presence does not make the thought of seeing the movies any more appealing. But I am still surprised to see them. And while I would not say I look forward to it, I am curious about it. These movies so far have been nothing like the games nor as good as them and so while “interest” isn’t really the word I’d use, I would say I am curious what the interpretation will be.

The other character I actually do care about. Nice to see that that they do look similar, though I wonder if that will be their actual design. (Certain things about the box art makes me wonder if this will really reflect the movies in reality) But even though I actually care about them, I don’t see any reason to believe the movies will do that story well and at most this is just going to be a fanservice thing.

So I ultimately don’t look forward to their inclusion either.

I suspected it could be, giving the box art having a mix of different styles of design. But at the same time, I assumed someone would not post in a thread like this something that would imply something like that without good reason.

Perhaps I was mistaken.

Well, instead of bootlegs, why not have some real figures

Got our first Agent Stone figure, along with Super Sonic, Shadow, the Master Emerald, and burrito drone drone with the burrito on it's head.

 

Either Sonic drunk his milk or Stone went through the washing machine, damn son.

I have been advised to not finish this joke.

I’m really not the target audience of things like that, as I do not collect action figures and toys of that sort. Even still, I must say that going with Stone of all things is a weird choice.

But at the same time, while he does not make sense to me, pretty much any other human character besides Robotnik himself would make even less sense to make movie merchandise for so….

I mean…

The dude has no competition. What are they going to do. Do that crazy dude who drew the Sanic picture in the first movie?

 

I wonder if there will be a separate Agent Stone figure later on, with the power suit he's wearing in his character poster.

Just general news, not directly tied to Sonic 3.

Exhibition just had one of the best weeks not only in the post Covid era, but of all time.

The previous Thanksgiving Record was in 2018 with $315m. The current estimates for this year are $420m thanks to the combined force of Wicked, Moana 2 and Gladiator 2 along with all the other holdovers tbis holiday week.

People still yearn to see movies at the theaters. They just gotta have something to actually see. Having competition out doesnt necessarily spell doom as people are clearly willing to see multiple films.

We don't have to fight with Mufasa bros. We can all just get along.

I don't want to get along with Mufasa. Neither it nor Lion King 2018 should have existed, let alone succeed.

 

Get on my level, Lion King sucks in general.
