My name is Alastair Mackay Redpath. I am 25 years old and I hail from the constituent country of the United Kingdom known as Scotland. I live and work in its largest city Glasgow and stay with my partner Jaime-Lynn overlooking the Necropolis.
I have been a 'gamer' since around 1990 starting off with Sonic the Hedgehog for the Sega Master System. I graduated to the Sega Mega Drive and later to Nintendo consoles such as the N64 and Gamecube. I fell out of love with Sega (post-Dreamcast publishing) and Nintendo (for the lack of original intuitive gaming on the Wii) in the 2000s. I now own a new desktop p.c. (yes, some people DO NOT own an tablet, laptop or 4G smart phone) and a X-Box 360. My Nokia flip-phone mobile still suffices.

Today most of my time is spent 'lifing' it regards to work, study and running a community group called 'Project Hawick.' This is a vehicle to set up a digital online repository and social discussion forum for my hometown of Hawick in the Scottish Borders.

I am deeply patriotic and politically active, campaigning for Scotland to be an independent country by 2014, when a referendum on independece shall be held.
Lastly I believe in cynicism and realism. We are born, we struggle, we die and rot in the ground. Nobody remembers us because we are innately selfish animals by proxy of our genetic makeup. This doesn't mean we should not enjoy life for what it is: an arbitary and fleeting brush with existence. Viva la Sonic!
I am an amateur historian and archivist that enjoys reading, video gaming, sports and listening to music of all types. I am politically active and I run a community group and forum based on my home town of Hawick, Scotland.Interact
